Educator Writes an Inspirational Autobiography about Achieving One’s Dreams

Rosalie Contino brings into the pages of a book her journey from being a seventh-grade-English teacher to becoming a playwright, costume designer, and lecturer. She recalls the challenge of working to reach her dreams in the midst of caring for her ailing brother and the difficulties that came her way.

Through her memoir, Contino hopes to uplift people and help them see that their dreams are never out of reach as long as they work hard and never let losses bring them down.

About the Author
Rosalie H. Contino, PhD, is an Italian American born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Fordham University and her master’s and doctor’s degrees in educational theater and costume design from New York University. Now retired, she spends her time writing books and plays, designing costumes, and giving lectures.
