A Story about a Boy and Dog’s Bond and Playtime

At the Piazza Costituzione in Bologna, Italy, the 2016 Bologna Children’s Book Fair took place from April 4 to April 7. A large crowd of delighted kids, parents, authors, and publishers participated, and author Cheri Enright exhibited her new children’s book, Riley and Me, at LitFire’s booth.

Imagine that favorite stuffed animals can come to life. Imagine what they will do. Imagine how days will be like, and imagine that playtime with them will last forever. In the story, Riley, a frisky little boy, goes on mini adventures with his dog. The two have playtime sessions full of life, and Riley’s adorable pal narrates some of their wonderful escapades together. Will there be no room for trouble?
 
“This is such a cute and relatable story. We have a dog that my son loves very much, and he kept pointing at Riley and his dog’s picture as I read him the story. He had to go out and get our real dog, Chip, and caress and pet him. It’s so sweet, kids can learn something,” stated a happy parent.
