About the Author

Rosalie H. Contino, PhD, got her degree in elementary education from Fordham University. She then earned her MA in educational theater and, later, a PhD in the same field from New York University.
 
Aside from teaching in New York University, the author worked as a costume designer, costume consultant, and lecturer for productions and events. She currently lives in Brooklyn, New York. She has two other published books, entitled As Life Goes On: Lessons One Doesn’t Want to Have to Learn and Underground Stories.
