Four Beagle Friends Embark on a Wild Train Adventure in New Children’s Book

Four canine friends embark on an adventure in Irene Dolnick’s book Kurt, Gert, Jazmine, and Bagel and Their Train Station Adventure. This book follows the first book, Kurt, Gert, Jazmine, and Bagel. Both works by Dolnick were featured last April 4 to 7 at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. The event was held at the Bologna Fair Centre, Bologna, Italy.

Jazmine and Bagel get on a train to head to Phoenix, Arizona. The two beagles bump into an old enemy. In their effort to escape capture, they lose track of Kurt and Gert, their other beagle friends. The four canines must carefully tread on the train to reach their destination without being caught.

Amazon user Conny praises the book, “This is a cute, innocuous tale about friendship among a group of canines. It shows how working and helping each other are important. The added pronunciation and reading tools [emphasize] letter combinations such as -tch, -ag, -ang, -ank, and -ed. I think young advanced readers will understand the reading concepts in the book and learn new words.”

Dolnick hopes to entertain readers with the adventures of the four pups. She has been inspired to help young learners practice proper pronunciation and excellent reading skills.
