The Language Exchange Inc Reaches 30 Year Milestone

Starting in 1986 in Skagit County, The Language Exchange Inc began interpreting for Spanish- speaking people. Services quickly grew to include over 200 languages and contracting with hundreds of linguists. The Language Exchange Inc went from having the first Washington State certified Court Interpreters in 1992 (and some of the first in the USA), to working within both the  public and private sectors interpreting and offering written translations. The Language Exchange Inc contracts with over 650 customers, ranging from the federal government to individuals.

“This 30 year anniversary is a great accomplishment and demonstrates the integrity of our customer service and professional linguists team,” said Jaye Stover, President of The Language Exchange Inc. ”Because of our professional translation and interpreting services, we have grown and become  successful for 30 years not only in Skagit County, but statewide for live interpreting, and nationally as well for written translations.”
