Finding Shamanic Path and Practice: Sydney Woman Reveals Inspiring Story on a Journey to Discover Healing and Growth

There is nothing as challenging as a tumultuous life like that of Heather Price’s, where fate came in to teach a lesson that one could never forget for a lifetime, which led her to Shamanic Path and Practice.

I never gave up, but I learned to let go. I let go of the pain every day. I searched for the joy and light in the smallest things. I became aware that when I thought good thoughts about my son, he was more likely to present in positive ways. It was a time of rich learning. My son and the grief we experienced as a family taught me so much.

Before discovering Shamanic Path and Practice, Heather Price was struggling to define her life purpose, and express her inner calling to service others in need of healing, until her youngest son suffered a brain injury after being run over at 18 months old.

The child was traumatised for a long time and experienced a lot of pain at first. He didn’t walk for six weeks and became anxious and angry. Heather became lost in her cycle of grief, anger and blame. The family had not only been deprived of a once-carefree and happy boy, but also a mother who once always had time to relax and enjoy all of her children; now her every moment consumed with finding ways to assist her injured son back into wholeness and wellness.

“Our family dynamics changed, and I changed. I was deeply saddened and desperate to find a way to help my little boy heal. I never gave up on the dream of him getting well. The grief was overwhelming in the early days, and while I continued to grieve until his recovery eight years later, I put all the energy I had into finding answers for a new way forward for him and for us, rather than looking back,” says Heather. www.shamanicpathandpractice.com

“I was really struggling to find healing techniques for children after my youngest son was injured. He had behavioural problems from his accident until he was 11 years old, and was later diagnosed with a brain tumour at 13 and almost died. After a stroke during surgery, he was left with damage to his fine motor skills in his right hand, and was no longer able to practice any of his favourite past times as a result. I wasn’t able to find the answers for him in main stream treatments, so I began practicing energy healing on myself and my children, learning ‘hands on healing’ from a book.” www.shamanicpathandpractice.com

Heather learned to accept the journey her family was on. She learned about the benefits of Reiki in 1996, and experienced her third eye re-opening. As a result, she was able to help her son at last and together they “took a deep healing ‘inner’ journey”. By that time, she had fully committed to a life of service to humanity, and her spiritual awakening strengthened her intuition and enabled her to channel spirit guides from other worlds who taught her the Shamanic Path and Practice.

“Today I feel grateful. After my son recovered from the brain operations, I felt immensely peaceful and trusting of myself and my journey. I began to see all challenges as opportunities to learn and grow. Nothing seemed difficult compared to what I’d been through.”

Heather began to create blueprints for soulful practice and teach students Shamanic Path and Practice in 2004. She continues to do this until this very day. She feels blessed and has great faith in her path, and the path of all those who walk around her.

About Heather Price

As the Shamanic Path and Practice founder, Heather sees her role as one of inspiring others to wake up, and remember and embrace who they are when they are in alignment with their true-heart nature, to know where they have come from, and to feel confident to walk their path to meet the future. According to Heather, the true heart, guided by the soul’s knowing and truth, is different to the wounded heart that looks to the past and is guided by familiar vibrational energy and negative memories.

She describes the shamanic way as an ancient therapeutic practice, with creative technologies that can be used to reach the true heart consciousness, and to explore avenues for healing the wounded heart, restoring one’s true nature. Clients who choose to walk with Heather for healing, counselling and coaching come from a variety of backgrounds and for many different reasons. Some arrive already well informed of the issues that have held them back in their lives and are ready to work intensively to heal past wounds, let them go and move forward. Others are more tentative as they begin their inner journey and take small steps at a time.
