Effects of Global Warming Explained through Illustrated Book

Leon Fainstadt singlehandedly wrote and illustrated a book entitled Swanstarz that teaches kids and reminds adults about the effects of global warming.

Fainstadt utilizes elements of fantasy to teach her readers about the dire need to save the planet. Through sibling deities, Swanstarz and Serene, readers will learn the vile things that people do that destroy their only home. And in turn, the deities make them realize what must be done to change things.

Swanstarz is a perfect book to read aloud with kids. They will not only be entertained; they will also learn a lot about the world and their part in saving it. This illustrated book will soon be an animated feature film.

Although the movie is still in production, enthusiasts caught Fainstadt’s book at the 2015 Guadalajara International Book Fair, which took place in Expo Guadalajara Exhibition Center, Mexico last November 28-December 6, 2015. Attendees were more than welcome to check Swanstarz out, along with several materials, during the said event.

About the Author
 
Leon Wolf Fainstadt was born on June 5, 1945 to slave laborers in the wastelands of Siberia. He escaped and traveled with the American Army across Europe until he finally decided to settle in Paris, France. He immigrated to the United States on the USS Gen. Blatchford in the late 50s.
