Written to bring out inspiration to readers, the book speaks about an indomitable faith to God deeply etched in Colonel Lackey’s memories.

How does God communicate his plan for a person? Colonel Hank Lackey’s book, Farm-boy to Fighter Pilot, provides a hint: God delivers his plan through a vision. Upon recognition, that vision led Colonel Lackey to an imminent career.

Farm-Boy to Fighter Pilot is an autobiography mirroring the life of an eight-year-old farm-boy inspired by God’s vision. From childhood to adulthood, the book reveals the gradual exposition of God’s path guiding Colonel Lackey towards his dream. At a young age, he was introduced to the merit of hard work which stirred him on the way up the army ranks. But, he believes that witnessing how God led the way of faith for him as an international secretary for a Christian organization defines his life most.

Edmond Suek stated in a review, “Perseverance and success in life go hand-in-hand, and this book is an archetype of both.” Furthermore, Suek recommends the book for both adult and young readers. He said, “The adults will reminisce and enjoy this rewarding book. The young will learn and appreciate what can be accomplished under any circumstances.”

Written to bring out inspiration to readers, the book speaks about an indomitable faith to God deeply etched in Colonel Lackey’s memories. Likewise, it assures readers that awareness of God in one’s life will lead him to where He intends him to be. In addition, the book supplies heart-warming messages and valuable life lessons for every reader to contemplate upon.

Moreover, this book was featured in the last AJC Decatur Book Festival, which was held on September 4-6, 2015 at the historic downtown Decatur Square in Decatur, Georgia. Several materials from the author were also exhibited during the whole event at the LitFire Publishing booth.
