Motorola Opens Hunan Innovation Center for Wireless Applications in China

CHANGSHA, China – 13 September, 2006 – Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today announced the launch of its Hunan Innovation Center in Changsha, capital of China’s Hunan province. The center will focus on improving the capabilities of enterprise platforms and mobile applications, providing a venue for Motorola to work with operators, service providers, content providers and end-users on wireless application innovation and development, thus driving innovation across the entire value chain of China’s wireless communication industry and promoting the growth of wireless applications in China.
