Trackwell Vessel Monitoring System supporting the FLUX fisheries connection

With a well-established history in vessel monitoring solutions, Trackwell‘s Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) now supports the FLUX (Fisheries Language for Universal eXchange) connection for VMS and Electronic Reporting System (ERS) data.  Recently introduced by the European Union (EU) to replace the previous HTTPS based communications, FLUX is a web-based communication protocol aimed at developing and exchanging efficient fisheries control and management data.

Trackwell‘s VMS is a state of the art vessel monitoring system used by fisheries authorities, coastguards and navies for surveillance, search and rescue, as well as resource management and fisheries control. The system is fully compliant with international fisheries regulations and facilitates exchange of information between authorities, neighbouring countries and regional fisheries offices.

Preferably provided as a fully web-based service, the system requires no locally hosted infrastructure except internet connected PC workstations, with running standard browsers.  While installation and commissioning is provided remotely, as well as around-the-clock support and maintenance, local support can be provided through partner companies, if required.

Trackwell has been developing vessel monitoring systems since 1997 and through the years, the company has served a number of countries and organizations around the world. With its primary focus of providing communication solutions in the field of monitoring and managing Extended Economy Zones (EEZ), an innovative team of professionals with vast experience has established the company as a leading provider of Mobile Resource Management (MRM) solutions delivered as software as a service (SaaS) for enterprises.
