Dr. Brenner is the Director of the Trauma Service at the William Alanson White Institute of Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis & Psychology. He is Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, in New York City. He will be on a panel that will discuss how dysfunctional patterns of caregiving acquired in a person’s family of origin lead to unsuccessful adult romantic relationships and what we can do about it. This panel will be of value to iDating service providers and others in the field by enhancing understanding of why customers aren’t satisfied with dating experiences, offering both a framework for understanding why this happens alongside solution-oriented approaches to achieving successful and satisfying relationships.
