Unicel Architectural enhances ViuLite® blinds-between-glass product with new operational and energy efficiency features

MONTREAL, Canada – December 1, 2015 – Unicel Architectural, the leading manufacturer of vision and daylight control solutions, today announced that it has enhanced its ViuLite® Venetian blinds-between-glass solution with additional features based on Pellini’s ScreenLine® technology. ViuLite® is a system of blinds that are permanently sealed within a double-glazed cavity for a completely dust-free and maintenance-free environment.

Unicel now offers ViuLite® with the following SL20 series of ScreenLine® designs:

• SL20A tilt-only model with operators on both sides.
• SL20C tilt-and-raise model available with manual or motorized operators.
• SL20B tilt-only model with knob operator at the bottom rail.
• SL20P tilt-only model with anti-ligature knob or removable key operators for increased user safety.
• SL20S tilt-and-raise with slider operator.
• SL20M tilt-only or tilt-and-raise with new brushless internal motor for better accuracy and longer lifespan.  

ViuLite® now also includes:

• Warm-edge spacers for enhanced energy efficiencies.
• Argon-filled airspace for up to 25 percent U-value improvements.
• 27/32” (21.4mm) airspace to fit into tighter glass pocket depths.
