About the Author
Horacio A. Hernandez was born in Sabana de la Mar, Dominican Republic. He received his M.A and Ph.D in Spanish and Latin American Literature from State University of New York. Dr. Hernandez spent 10 years working as a Spanish language trainer and technical coordinator for the Peace Corps. Since 2003, he has worked as a professor of Spanish Language and Literature in Montreat College, NC.
