EMSL Acquires Marypaul Laboratories, Inc.

Effective November 1, 2015, EMSL Analytical, Inc. has acquired Marypaul Laboratories, Inc. (MPL) located in Sparta, New Jersey. EMSL will continue to operate the full-service microbiology testing laboratory from its current location at 12 Wilson Drive, Sparta, NJ for the convenience of all customers. 

Established in 1985, MPL was a privately held full-service microbiology contract testing laboratory serving a variety of industries including water, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, medical devices and personal care. EMSL has additionally purchased the existing building and will now occupy the 10,000 square foot custom-designed microbiological testing laboratory and office facility in Sussex County, which is approximately one hour from New York City. 

MPL has an outstanding reputation in the industry for quality service and customer service.  MPL’s quality as a cGMP compliant laboratory has been recognized through multiple organizations and holds numerous accreditations and certification including FDA Registration, DEA Licensing for Controlled Drug Substances, ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and ISO 9001:2008 certifications as well as NJ DEP certification.  MPL currently holds numerous vendor approvals with Fortune 500 consumer product companies.
