Papros Brings Increased Supply Chain Transparency to Cloud for ECHA’s REACH Article Level Compliance Information Dissemination

Green leader Papros Inc, announced that it has brought advanced cloud capable transparency to the supply chain that is necessary for the seamless dissemination of compliance information for Article level compliance for REACH.

Recently, the honorouble courts in Europe determined that compliance for REACH needed to be demonstrated at the Article level. This means  subassemblies and components that are offered on the market separately on their own and determinable as Articles, will now need a show of compliance to the REACH rules for products. This means that product manufacturers have to be sure that components several layers deep in their supply chain that are available on the market as Articles, will need to be sure of Article level chemical concentrations and compliance at that level. This is where the latest features of MRPRO(TM) make a huge difference. Firstly, the suppliers enter the latest compliance information for their entire spectrum of parts in a spreadsheet interface. Data flows from every supplier, across several layers of the supply chain, and is available to all downstream users who choose the supplier username as a trusted user. Then a set of features on the cloud allow the user to check for a set of chemicals above the threshold level, by their CAS number or to cross check for product compliance by scrubbing an entire Bill Of Materials and all of the articles in the BOM for REACH compliance. They are able to check their entire supply chain in a highly personalized manner for compliance information.
