The Elizabeth Hospice Offers Child and Teen Grief Support in San Diego

The Elizabeth Hospice offers a grief support group for children and teens between the ages of 8 and 18 in partnership with the UPACC and ACE Program Center located at 5348 University Ave., Suite F202 San Diego, CA  92105. The support group meets the first and third Monday of each month from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
 
According to the National Alliance for Grieving Children, each year there are 1.5 million grieving children and teens in the United States. The Elizabeth Hospice has implemented a nationally recognized childhood bereavement model in San Diego. This comprehensive model is designed to help children and teens decrease their sense of isolation, increase coping skills, encourage connection among their peers and provide education on grief and loss.
