Elsevier MDL and Matrix Scientific collaborate to improve chemical sourcing

San Ramon, CA and Columbia, SC - September 11, 2006 - Elsevier MDL and Matrix Scientific are working together to help researchers in pharmaceutical, agrochemical, polymer, coatings and academic research locate and acquire chemical materials with improved ease and reliability.

Under the partnership, Matrix Scientific provides Elsevier MDL with regular electronic updates of product and pricing information from Matrix Scientific chemical catalogs. The collaboration facilitates timely updates to the industry-leading MDL® Available Chemicals Directory database, which compiles data from suppliers around the world. The partnership also includes a data exchange that simplifies the ordering process for Matrix Scientific chemical products by referencing the MDL number found in the database.

They are also available for in-house installation.
