Newborn Screening Awareness Month Outreach Toolkit & Giveaway

In recognition of September being Newborn Screening Awareness month,The Save Babies Through Screening Foundation has released an updated outreach toolkit specifically designed for parent advocates to help spread the word about newborn screening awareness month via their social networks, local newspapers and doctor’s offices. In addition, the Foundation will also be giving away five Baby Vida oxygen monitors this September.

In recognition of September being Newborn Screening Awareness month,The Save Babies Through Screening Foundation has released an updated outreach toolkit specifically designed for parent advocates to help spread the word about newborn screening awareness month via their social networks, local newspapers and doctor’s offices. In addition, the Foundation will also be giving away five Baby Vida oxygen monitors this September.  The Baby Vita Oxygen Meter is a “sophisticated yet easy to use device which monitors Oxygen Level and Heart Rate wirelessly from a baby’s foot and then alarms your smartphone if either of those vitals fall outside of the predetermined ranges”. Beginning on September 7th, 2015 Baby Vida will be available for purchase at all Walmarts nationwide. Comprised of volunteers whose lives have been touched by newborn screening (NBS), Save Babies Through Screening Foundation is the only advocacy organization in the country dedicated to Newborn Screening.
