Discount African Hunts completes the Encycopedia of Huntable African Animals

Discount African Hunts is pleased to announce the completion of it’s Encyclopedia of Huntable African Animals.  This web-based encyclopedia serves as a convenient source of information about huntable species in Africa.  Hunters will find this information extremely valuable when researching information for upcoming hunting safaris to Africa.

“We have completed the development of our Encyclopedia of Huntable African Animals and it is now available on our website as a resource for the African hunting community,” said John Martins, owner and operator of Discount African Hunts.

The encyclopedia contains detailed information about 82 huntable African species and ranges alphabetically from the Ardwolf to the Zebra.  The size distribution of this encyclopedia starts at the diminutive Royal Antelope and ranges upwards to the largest land mamal on earth, the African Elephant.

Collectors and hunters of exotic species such as the yellow-backed duiker and other geographically isolated duiker species will find this information extremely useful.  The nine spiral-horned antelopes of Africa and the differing species of wildebeest, zebra and others are all addressed in this comprehensive encyclopedia.

“This took a big effort by our web design team and our oudoor writers and researchers to pull all of this information together and to present it in an organized and professional manner.  Over 540 photos were gathered to provide the necessary visual information concerning these animals.  A lot of positive comments have come in since we made this available and we are allready in the planning stages to add an additional 20 animals to the initial 82.   With over 173 species of huntable animals on the African continent, our work is far from over,” said Martins.
