Bosch Production Tools at Motek 2006: Bosch opens up a new product segment with the Electric Screwdriver
· Bosch’s range comprises pneumatic, cordless and electric screwdrivers
· C-Exact meets the demanding standards of the electrical and electronics industry
At Motek 2006, the production tools division of Bosch Power Tools will present the new industrial electric screwdriver C-Exact with its matching power supply unit PUC-Exact. With this new screwdriver model, Bosch is opening up a new product segment of industrial screwdrivers. It is a further addition to Bosch’s range of industrial screwdrivers, which was already the largest on the market. This means that Bosch’s range now comprises pneumatic, cordless and electric screwdrivers.
The combination of tried and tested components from Bosch’s range of Exact industrial cordless screwdrivers and the new, brushless EC-motor is the basis for both the low spare part and services costs and the robustness and durability of the C-Exact. These are the ideal conditions for economical working in production and in the workshop. With a cmk value > 1.67 at a tolerance of +/- 10 percent, the C-Exact is equipped to meet the industry’s demanding standards. A high level of repeat accuracy and efficient working are guaranteed, even after driving a million screws. The C-Exact has electrostatic discharge capability (ESD) as standard, allowing for unrestricted use of the tool in the electrical and electronics industry.
The new electric screwdriver allows for very convenient working due to its wide range of infinitely variable torques from 0.5 to 3.5 newtonmeters (for screw diameters up to M4) and its external torque setting. This prevents inadvertent adjustment of the torque during work. The good balance of weight and ergonomics which users have come to expect from Exact cordless screwdrivers are also characteristics of the C-Exact.
Bosch Production Tools will present its new products at the Motek trade fair from 26 to 29 September 2006 in Hall 6, Booth 6315.
