Special Materials Company (SMC) has appointed Leo Walsh as new Compliance Solutions Business Manager. Mr. Walsh will be tasked with deepening SMC’s already established leading North America supplier position of the low VOC solvent parachlorobenzotrifluoride, as well as implementing commercial strategies for other key solvent products: monochlorotolune, dimethyl carbonate and propylene carbonate.

He has also held other process and research chemist positions with Henkel and National Starch & Chemical Company.
