UK – WEBWIRE

London – May 29th 2015 – Today Happy Otter Games announced the Autumn Kickstarter release of its bidding and battling game Creature College™ at UK Games Expo 2015.

To win the coveted Creature College Cup you must collect more victory points than your opponents. Victory points can be won by collecting creatures, completing missions, building your research lab and smacking down your enemies! Creature College is played in 3 university terms, Spring, Autumn and Winter. Each term consists of 3 bidding rounds and 1 battle round. At the end of 12 rounds the game is over and you count up the victory points. The player with the highest number of victory points at the end of the game is the winner.

Creature College is a “cross-over” game, simple to learn and engaging for beginner gamers but with enough strategy to challenge the experienced gamer. The four different ways of gaining victory points are designed to allow you to play a range of different strategies that can all deliver victory. Marshal your creatures carefully to have the right combination to win the battle rounds but always keep enough in reserve, Kevin the Giga-Pig may be just around the corner!

“I love games. I’ve been playing them for over 35 years and finally, after a lifetime of product design and marketing experience, I decided to turn scribbles on bits of paper into a published game,” said Creature College creator Orhan Ertughrul. “In Creature College I wanted a game with artwork that just made you smile, and game rules that were simple to learn but with depth of gameplay. Despite many hours of testing this game still makes me grin every time I play it. I hope it will make others smile as well.”
