The American Board of Industrial Hygiene® (ABIH®) is proud to be an active participant at the AIHce 2015 Conference and Expo.

Lansing, MI – WEBWIRE

We invite everyone who will be at AIHce 2015 to attend the ABIH® Forum to learn about the latest developments and to celebrate the achievements of our peers during the award ceremony.

Later this week, the American Industrial Hygiene Conference & Exposition (AIHce) gets underway at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City.  The event continues through June 4th and thousands of industrial hygiene, occupational and environmental health, and safety professionals will be in attendance.

Representatives from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene® will once again be active participants at this annual event.  ABIH® is a sponsor of the conference and has a busy agenda planned.  It includes the ABIH® Forum which will take place on Monday, June 1st, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM.  During this event, the Impact Award and Lynn C. O’Donnell Lifetime Achievement Award and lecture will be presented.  The ABIH® Impact Award is being presented to Dr. Roy Rando, CIH® for his contributions resulting in a significant positive impact to the practice of occupational and environmental hygiene.  The ABIH® Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest honor awarded by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene® and this year’s award recipient is Dr. Jas Singh, CIH®.

The award ceremony will be followed by a discussion of the implementation of ABIH’s strategic initiatives.  There will also be an opportunity for attendees to engage board members and staff in open dialog about the future of ABIH® and the profession.

“The ABIH® Forum will be an important event for Certified Industrial Hygienists and those who are planning to pursue the CIH® credential in the future,” said Nicole Greeson, CIH® and Chair of ABIH®.  “We invite everyone who will be at AIHce 2015 to attend the ABIH® Forum to learn about the latest developments and to celebrate the achievements of our peers during the award ceremony.  For those who cannot make the Forum, representatives from ABIH® will be available in the exhibit hall at booth #917.”
