Fujifilm’s new booth will feature five demonstration areas that will highlight Fujifilm’s ultrasound processor Sonart and the EB-530US ultrasound video bronchscope. A bronch model will be present at each demonstration for attendees to experience hands-on benefits of EBUS. Sonart is equipped with innovative image processing technology called ZONE Sonography™ and Sound Speed Correction Technology that provide excellent diagnostic capabilities, Sonart brings a new approach to endoscopic ultrasound, integrating into a slim endoscopic procedure cart with video processor and light source. With a distal end outer diameter of 6.7mm, the EB-530US scope is designed to improve maneuverability, insertion capability and physician efficiency. Equipped with high-resolution and ultra-small Super CCD chip technology, this scope offers vivid, high-resolution endoscopic images. “With new decisions from the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services providing reimbursement for lung cancer screening of current smokers and those with an extensive history of smoking,  the need for a less invasive method is clear,” said Kurt Cannon, vice president, Sales, Marketing, Operations & Support Services, Endoscopy Division, FUJIFILM Medical Systems, U.S.A., Inc. “Fujifilm is dedicated to promoting the early detection of lung cancer through advances in technology and will continue to develop revolutionary and reliable imaging solutions.”
