The hotel is pleased to introduce a new package “Running is Shangri-La” that provides guests with scenic running routes catered to suit the needs of a beginner, intermediate or advanced runner. Additional wellness options include practicing yoga in the privacy of their guest suite with a lululemon guided video as a pre or post run stretch, a robust healthy menu, unlimited access to the hotel’s state of the art Health Club facilities including the acclaimed pool and fitness classes and a signature Hammam and Gommage treatment for two at the Miraj Hammam Spa by Caudalie.

Guests of the hotel need not miss out on their healthy routine. Runners can enjoy their daily kilometers while exploring some of Toronto’s most interesting sights such as:

All of the recommended running routes have been personally tested and amended by Ben Kaplan, editor-in-chief of iRun magazine, author of Feet, Don’t Fail Me Now, and   running columnist for the National Post. Guests can access the maps on their phones by scanning the QR codes for the specific map of their choice located in all guestroom suites.

Complementing the running program, Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto has created an original yoga video in partnership with lululemon and lululemon yoga ambassador Amber Joliat that is available on all Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto’s 202 guestroom TV’s and iPads. Guests can enjoy practicing yoga in the privacy of their rooms on lululemon yoga mats provided in every guestroom and suite. The video itself (25 minutes in length) was shot in different areas of the hotel. This instructional video is also available on Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto’s youtube channel for guests to access at any time while in Toronto or at home.

Guests can feel at ease knowing there are ample wellness options available on all the hotel’s menus that highlight sustainable sources of produce, fish and meat. Dishes on offer include locally sourced organic vegetables and fruits, free range poultry and beef and sustainable seafood.
