American Board of Industrial Hygiene® to Recognize Two Outstanding CIHs at the AIHce Conference

On June 1st, the 2015 ABIH® Forum will take place at the American Industrial Hygiene Conference & Exposition (AIHce) from 2:00 to 3:30 PM.  During the event, two of ABIH’s most prestigious honors will be awarded.  The Impact Award and Lifetime Achievement Award recognize the professional accomplishments of outstanding Certified Industrial Hygienists.
 
The ABIH® Impact Award celebrates those ABIH® Diplomates who have made major contributions resulting in a significant positive impact to the practice of occupational and environmental hygiene.  For 2015, this award is being presented to Dr. Roy Rando, CIH®. 
 
The ABIH® Lynn C. O’Donnell Lifetime Achievement Award celebrates those ABIH® Diplomates who have made exemplary contributions to the practice of occupational and environmental hygiene that has culminated over a lifetime of work.  The ABIH® Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest honor awarded by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene® and this year’s award recipient is Dr. Jas Singh, CIH®.
 
“Both Dr. Singh and Dr. Rando were chosen for their many years of dedicated service to ABIH® and the numerous Diplomates they have mentored during their respective careers,” said David C. Roskelley, MSPH, CIH®, CSP and Selection Committee Chair at ABIH®.  “Both award recipients should be proud of their efforts and ABIH® is excited to recognize them at AIHce 2015.  We encourage all industrial hygienists and CIHs who will be attending this year’s conference to mark their calendars for the ABIH® Forum and join us in celebrating these two exemplary CIHs.”
