San Mateo County Fair is proud to announce that they are bringing the Jefferson Starship for a live concert performance for the first time to the 2015 San Mateo County Fair June 6, 2015.Jefferson Starship was founded by Rock Hall of Fame inductee Paul Kantner (who also founded Jefferson Airplane) and David Freiberg (who also founded Quicksilver Messenger Service).
The band soars into their 41st year in 2015, carrying one of rock music’s greatest legacies and halcyon repertoires. Recent television specials on PBS and HDNet have only furthered the legendary band’s following. As genuine American good will ambassadors, they have appeared in 30 countries on 4 continents, including Brazil, Japan, Israel and Serbia at the invitation of the American Embassy"
