SPS Expands Leadership Academy Partnerships

Swiss Post Solutions (SPS), an innovative leader in business process outsourcing and digitization solutions, announced today that it has recently expanded its Leadership Academy partnerships to include additional prominent international organizations, providing a broader network of qualified and diverse talent.

SPS’ Leadership Academy is a highly interactive internship program that provides experiential training and job opportunities for pre-qualified candidates in New York and Washington DC. Already in 2015, SPS has established partnerships to recruit qualified students for its class of interns with New York University’s School of Professional Studies, which focuses on providing undergraduate and graduate programs in professional fields, as well as a non-profit global organization that hosts visiting scholars. Of the most recent class of 31, one-third of the students come from countries such as Italy, Tunisia, Germany, and Azerbaijan, and who represent a broad array of specializations ranging from Chemical Engineering and Marketing, to Legal Studies and Physics.

Since its inception in 2007, the company’s academy program has welcomed over 400 students from some of the world’s most well-known universities, colleges, and youth development organizations. According to the program’s director, Dr. Paul Ortega, the SPS Leadership Academy intends to expand and build upon its success with the goal of offering employment opportunities to 75% of students who successfully complete the program in 2015.
