Bergman & Beving acquires industrial reseller in Karlskrona

Bergman & Beving has concluded an agreement to acquire 100 percent of the shares outstanding in Trossö Järn & Bygg AB (Trossö Järn). Trossö Järn is one of the largest suppliers of tools, machinery and industrial consumables to industry, construction and public administration in Karlskrona and its surrounding areas. Trossö Järn is a partner in the tools chain, Bergman & Beving’s partner chain for industrial resellers. With this acquisition Bergman & Beving and the tools chain further strengthen their market positions in south eastern Sweden. Trossö Järn has annual revenues of approximately MSEK 50 and has 13 employees.

After elimination of the Bergman & Beving Group’s current sales to Trossö Järn, the Group’s annual net revenues are estimated to increase by approximately MSEK 35. Closing is expected to take place in the beginning of October 2006. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive effect on Bergman & Beving’s earnings per share during the current financial year.
