MRIS Real Estate Leaders Named to Swanepoel’s 2014 Power 200 List

MRIS, the industry-leading Mid-Atlantic Multiple Listing Service (MLS) that facilitates nearly $125 million a day in real estate transactions, today announced that its President and CEO David Charron and several other MRIS regional leaders have been named to this year’s Swanepoel Power 200.

The 2014 Swanepoel Power 200 is one of the most comprehensive lists of powerful key decision makers, influencers and innovators in the residential real estate industry. Swanepoel takes into account numerous factors including the organization’s significance and contribution to the industry, individual’s personal influence, decision-making power, growth potential and other key contributions.

Charron, who ranked 49th, runs one of the largest and most productive MLS’s in the country and is well-recognized for advancing the national real estate industry by offering innovative tools and resources to support its 45,000 customers. Under Charron’s direction, MRIS became the first MLS in the country to partner with Homesnap to launch the wildly popular Homesnap Pro app.

MRIS Chairman of the Board Jon Coile ranked 92nd on the Power 200 for his contribution to the real estate industry. As MRIS Chairman, Coile was a key proponent for the addition of the Coming Soon listing status, enabling agents to share and view listing information before becoming active on the MLS. Coile, who is also CEO of Champion Realty, Inc., was a member of the MRIS Board of Directors and served on the MRIS Executive Committee and Investment Committee before becoming MRIS Chairman in 2013.
