The Marwin Company Receives The 2015 NAHB Most Innovative Building Product Award

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) named the winning products in its third annual Best of IBS Awards held during the 2015 International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Las Vegas. At that show, the winner for the 2015 Most Innovative Building Product was Marwin’s One∙Touch Electric Stairway. The awards were given to exhibitors with a product or line that shows the best combination of design, functionality and innovation, as well as its usefulness to consumers and/or home builders.

Marwin’s One•Touch Attic Stairway is a fully electronically controlled attic stairway. With the touch of a button, the stair door panel unlatches and allows the aviation-grade aluminum stair sections to slide down to the floor.  Once the homeowner has finished using the stair, another touch of a button retracts the sliding stair sections into the attic space and latches the door closed.  Among its many features, it has a 375 lb duty rating, ANSI 14.9 certification, 6 sturdy handrails, a smooth and quiet operating motor assembly, can reach ceiling heights up to 14 feet, and a Made-in-the-USA quality guarantee.
