Martha Stewart Poncho Now Available

The now famous poncho that Martha Stewart wore upon her release from Camp Cupcake can now be yours. Made for her as a going away gift from a fellow inmate, it has become known as the “Welcome Back” poncho. The woman who made the poncho, Xiomaro Hernandez, will get 10% of the profits after her release from Alderson in 2008.

Sew-Beautiful is now offering the pattern, crochet hook and yarn as a complete do-it-yourself package. Or you can order the twenty-five page, detailed book with four patterns. They also make a custom crocheted “Welcome Home” poncho. There are four yarn color choices. Many more ponchos and shawls are available on their website including some unique hand made styles from Peru.

Sew Beautiful (www.sew-beautiful.us) also makes custom couture clothing for women. They offer dresses, suits, evening gowns and bridal attire from photos or drawings. Chanel and other designer fabrics are available.
