Senior VP Of Trust Company Of The West NanLan Ye Joins CASA of Los Angeles Board

Los Angeles, CA – WEBWIRE

CASA/LA has elected NanLan Ye to its Board of Directors. As an investment professional, Ms. Ye brings her over 10 years experience in institutional assets management to CASA/LA and a unique perspective to the Board as a Chinese-American who is bilingual in both Mandarin and English.

Ms. Ye developed her expertise in investment and asset management during her over ten-years serving at the Trust Company of the West. She started with the company in 2003 and quickly worked her way up, having been promoted to Vice President in 2007 and to her current position as Senior Vice President in 2010. Specialized in securitized product analysis and research, Ms. Ye has maintained a record of success in diverse assignments. Currently, she is focusing on fixed rate Collateralized Mortgage Obligation (CMO), specified mortgage pools, and To-Be-Announcement (TBA) mortgage pools.

“CASA does incredible work with the foster children of Los Angeles. I’m proud to devote my knowledge and skills to help CASA expand and sustain its operation. Every additional child that can be helped through this organization is a huge win for our community,” said NanLan Ye. She continued, “I would love to be helpful to those most in need in the foster system; their future success is essential to our society. My contribution, while small in comparison to the scope of the problem, will be to lend CASA whatever aid I can to ensure the safety and growth of these children.

As CASA/LA looks to leverage relationships within the financial community to assist in its growth, NanLan’s insight and network of professional connections will prove invaluable to the organization.

Founded in 1978, CASA of Los Angeles is a community-supported 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to mobilize community volunteers to advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children in the overburdened foster care system of Los Angeles County. CASA’s vision is of a Los Angeles where every foster child has an advocate and the opportunity to thrive. Through committed, highly trained everyday citizen volunteers, CASA brings the voice of a concerned community into the child welfare system. Studies have shown that children with CASAs receive more assistance and support than children without, and are more likely to be adopted or returned to their families and less likely to reenter the child welfare system.
