Northern Insurance Agencies Community Program Introduces a New Charity Campaign in The Metro DC Area to Donate Items to Keep Homeless Individuals, Families And Children Warm During The Winter

Metro DC Area – Northern Insurance Agencies debuts a new charity campaign in collaboration with Stepping Stones Shelter as part of its recognized community program in the Metro DC area, and announces they will direct its efforts to a winter clothing/items drive for the homeless in their community. Stepping Stones diligently provides emergency shelter, supportive housing and post-shelter support to local homeless families and individuals. New or gently used items, such as coats, gloves, mittens, blankets, and jackets of all sizes can be dropped off at either one of Northern Insurance Agencies locations, at 7218 Muncaster Mill Rd. “During the brutal winter months, many of us are lucky enough to have something warm to wear, and even gather around the fireplace with family and friends,” said Tom Northern the Agency’s principal. “It’s sad to know that so many local people are out freezing in this weather… We want and need to help!”

Through the agency’s network of customers, business partners, friends, staff and family, the initiative to spread the word about this campaign, Northern Insurance Agencies will employ its valuable resources and reach out to the community, so that they can raise many winter items. The campaign will be promoted over the course of the next 30-60 days, through the agency’s social media channels, email and text message communications, as well as through their monthly magazine, delivered to thousands of households in Maryland, Virginia, and DC, where the agency currently operates. The Community Program held by Northern Insurance Agencies will continue to highlight and support people in need in their community. Every 60 days, a new campaign will be launched, in collaboration with local non-profits and community members.
