Lovejoy launches new coupling solutions blog

Early this month, Lovejoy, Inc. announced the launch of couplinganswers.com, a blog supported by Lovejoy’s application specialists and engineers dedicated to “Educated Answers to Common Coupling Questions”. Lovejoy is a 4th generation family owned flexible coupling manufacturer that has, for generations, worked hard to differentiated itself based on customized coupling user support and superior service. Advancing with the times, Lovejoy believes the solutions blog will allow it to more richly and deeply serve and educate its established mechanical power transmission user base in a scalable and sustainable manner.

Lovejoy’s applications team has been and aims to continue adding a new published article to couplinganswers.com every day. The team expected their efforts will lead to a site where users will be able to find answers to more than 25% of the questions currently fielded by Lovejoy’s application engineers by the end of 2015.

Currently, couplinganswers.com has over a dozen articles published covering a wide breadth of coupling concepts and ideas. Concepts already published include coupling product type overviews, critical selection criteria for a coupling, torque calculation tips, coupling bore standards and recommendations, manufacturer interchanges, and a handful of other frequently asked coupling questions. Topics to be covered shortly include coupling failure modes, API 610, and API 671 coupling standards.

Couplinganswers.com is actively seeking user feedback and engagement, both on current content as well as new ideas for future content.
