Merritt Island Brakes for Breasts Campaign Starts

Local auto repair shop gives away free brakes to support Breast Cancer research

Merritt Island/Florida – WEBWIRE

As parents of a daughter who survived cancer, Terry and I want to do what we can to help find a cure for all forms of cancer, including breast cancer.

Recognizing the toll that breast cancer takes on our society, Inmon Automotive Services and Eurotech European Auto Repair, are addressing this problem with their Brakes for Breasts Campaign.

During the October fundraiser, Brevard residents get free brake pads and 10% of the labor costs go directly to an organization that is pursuing a vaccine against breast cancer.

This is the first year the two auto repair shops are participating in the program.

“As parents of a daughter who survived cancer, Terry and I want to do what we can to help find a cure for all forms of cancer, including breast cancer,” said Ivan Inmon, the owner of Inmon Automotive Services.

To help raise funds, all people have to do when they come into either auto repair shop, located at 55 N. Tropical Trail, Merritt Island, Fla., is get their brakes fixed during October.
