Divorcedcatholic.org Releases Open Letter to Pope Francis Addressing the Needs of Divorced and Remarried Catholics Ahead of Synod of Bishops

Marietta, GA, USA - divorcedcatholic.org, the leading organization providing resources to help Catholics who have experienced divorce or separation, released an open letter to Pope Francis calling on the Church to take responsibility for its role in alienating Catholics after divorce, and details concrete solutions on how to resolve this persistent problem. 

The letter, also addressed to William Cardinal Kasper, the entire Synod of Bishops, and the Catholic Church at Large, is an effort to raise awareness of how the Church has contributed to the plight of millions of divorced Catholics who seek to return to the Catholic faith. The letter, written by Vince Frese, President of Journey of Hope Productions, the parent company that hosts divorcedcatholic.org, explains the reasons why Catholics remarry outside the Church, and why they often feel alienated and unwelcome by the Church during their divorce and when they attempt to return. The letter also offers specific solutions on how to keep Catholics from leaving the Church after divorce and how to attract those that have left back to the Church.
