Kodak Signs Contract With Medlink Imaging

Agreement Appoints Medlink U.S. Value Added Distributor of Small Format Computed Radiography Products From Kodak’s Health Group

Rochester, N.Y., August 23 -- Eastman Kodak Company has signed a multiyear agreement with Medlink Imaging, LLC, that names Medlink a value added distributor in the U.S. for Kodak’s Point-of-Care computed radiography (CR) products.

Kodak’s compact Point-of-Care CR systems enable medical practitioners to acquire patient x-ray images digitally and are used for in-room medical imaging needs throughout a medical facility—such as in emergency, pediatrics and intensive care departments. Kodak manufactures and markets these innovative systems for specialty markets such as orthopedics and diagnostic imaging centers.

Under the agreement, Medlink Imaging will distribute KODAK Point-of-Care products, spare parts and accessories—as well as provide customer technical support and service through a national network of authorized dealers.

The agreement also enables Medlink to sell OREX ACL systems available from Kodak. Kodak acquired OREX Computed Radiography Ltd.—a leader in compact CR systems for specialty markets and distributed CR applications—in early 2005. Additional details of the agreement were not disclosed.
