Public Approval: Axios Systems selected as G Cloud 5 supplier

The success of the framework’s portal ‘CloudStore’ will be pivotal as the UK Government expenditure in cloud technologies is set to rise 35% annually to 2018. Under the coalition more than 360,000 local government jobs have disappeared, accompanied by a direct reduction of £95m in IT spending. Fife Council reduced their service desk calls by 61% in less than 6 months by the adoption of online customer self-service, resulting in cost savings of £1.2 million. Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council significantly increased their Service Desk opening hours despite having fewer members of staff through the implementation of assyst, and the Scottish Government has created similar efficiencies through improved management of their IT assets and increased automation.
