Local Auto Repair Service Helps Students Drive Safe Autos
Offering a Free Safety Inspection for all drivers under 21
Being both parents and grandparents, and with no auto safety inspection required in Florida, we know that many people may be driving cars with potentially dangerous safety issues.
Inmon Automotive Services is offering students under the age of 21 a free auto safety inspection during the month of June as part of National Student Safety Month.
Inmon Automotive, established in 1959, decided to offer the safety inspections because summer is about to begin and young adults will be driving a lot more.
“Being both parents and grandparents, and with no auto safety inspection required in Florida, we know that many people may be driving cars with potentially dangerous safety issues,” said Ivan Inmon, president of Inmon Auto. “We want to do our part to make sure that students aren’t putting themselves at risk.”
Any student who brings in a car or truck that is registered in his or name or shows his or her student ID will get the 52-point safety inspection.
“We will look at the car from the tires to the tailgate,” Inmon, a father and grandfather, said. “If we identify issues, we will let them know and they can make a decision on where and when they get it fixed.”
Located at 55 N. Tropical Trail in Merritt Island, Inmon has been dedicated to fixing cars and trucks of the people of Brevard. It won the prestigious Angie’s List Super Service Award in five separate categories in 2013. To interview Inmon, please contact brad@justsmallbiz.com .
