PSE hosts Investment Conference in Cebu

The Philippine Capital Markets Investment Conference organized by the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) had a successful run on May 16, 2014 at the Cebu City Marriott Hotel. The event was graced by Vice President Jejomar Binay who gave the keynote speech.

Aside from presentations on the economic and stock market outlook, representatives from the Exchange gave talks on the Basics of Investing in the Stock Market, Raising Capital in the Stock market, Investing in Exchange Traded Funds and Products and Recent Developments in the Stock Market. The event partners of the PSE had industry experts tackle topics like Online Trading, Investing Strategies of the World’s Best Investors, Basics of Chart Strategies, among others.

“We are pleased to see great interest in the capital markets in the Visayas. The good attendance and active participation during the conference inspires us to explore opportunities to have more market education initiatives for existing and potential stock market investors in the region,” PSE COO Roel A. Refran said.
