Bright Beginnings Hosts 18th Annual Brad & Erna Butler Memorial Golf Tournament

Denver, CO – Bright Beginnings will host its annual Brad & Erna Butler Memorial Golf Tournament on June 2, 2014 at the Valley Country Club in Centennial. The tournament, one of the organization’s chief fundraisers, is open to golfers of all abilities and will feature hole contests, sponsor and player awards, lunch and a post-tournament reception.

“This is such a fun way to connect with other golfers and raise money for our early childhood development programs, which are provided free-of-charge to children statewide,” said Jean McSpadden, Bright Beginnings President and CEO.

The tournament celebrates the contributions of Bright Beginnings co-founder Brad Butler, former chairman of Procter & Gamble, who with his wife Erna, tirelessly and generously advocated for bettering the lives of all children. Last year’s event raised $60,000 to support the vision of ensuring that every child in Colorado be healthy, valued and ready to learn.

The long-running tournament, which features a four-person scramble format, typically draws more than 100 players, including high-profile community leaders.  Sponsors include Elaine and Steve Berman, Broadridge, Kuni Lexus, Nancy and Tony Accetta, and Jean and Ernie McSpadden.

Sponsorship opportunities remain available. For sponsorship information, please contact Jennifer Wilson ( jennifer@brightbeginningsusa.org ).  Individual registrations cost $250, which includes greens fees, meals, drinks and program admission.
