“This organization has made such a difference in many children’s lives, so we’re excited to be a part of that.”

Savannah, GA – Old Savannah Insurance Agency in Savannah, GA announced the debut of its community cause program, designed to benefit the local community, one family or person at a time. The agency will work closely with nonprofit organizations in the area, to nominate a new beneficiary going through significant hardship every 30-60 days. The idea is to contribute to the overall wellbeing of that individual or family through specific initiatives, unique to each case. Some of the provided relief might include granting a wish, funding some living expenses, medication, transportation, and even rebuilding costs.

Each new cause will showcase a full story about the selected individual or family, and their current conditions on a designated donations page. With the newly launched program, Old Savannah Insurance Agency takes responsibility for promoting that page through its many channels, to include its own database of thousands of customers, business partners, staff, neighbors and friends.

The agency also owns a monthly publication, Our Hometown magazine, which reserves a full page to feature the campaign and its details. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue of the magazine can be accessed here: http://oldsavannahinsuranceagency.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_41

To launch the cause, James Grusheski, the agency’s principal, decided to start a campaign alongside a nationally branded non-profit organization that arranges unique experiences for children with life-threatening medical conditions. The effort is being inspired and driven by “Teddy”, a child in the area, whom has been granted his own wish, and now feels empowered to make a dream come true for someone else.

“We are very excited to be working with this wonderful organization,” affirmed James Grusheski, founder and President of Old Savannah Insurance Agency. “This organization has made such a difference in many children’s lives, so we’re excited to be a part of that.”

The Go Fund Me page features Teddy’s story, his own granted wish, and the reason why Old Savannah wants to help another Savannah kid get their wish granted. Donations to the campaign can be made at www.gofundme.com/77b4pw.
