Arrow Machine Works Machines THE TOWER (120” tall x 10’ wide) Utilizing Precision Accuracy, Control & Maximum Capacity of P1 (x852)

Arrow Machine Works (P1) extremely large capacity CNC Ingersoll Planer Mill (x852) has just finished Precision Machining a Monster-Sized Part (120” x 10”), weight of nearly 5 tons.  THE TOWER arrived on a flat-bed semi truck rusty & in need of refinishing.  It was loaded onto the Table of P1 (34’ long) by Arrow’s 30,000 ton crane. 

“Very few Precision Machine Shops can machining parts up to 71’ feet long (x852”) by 10’ feet wide (y120”)”, explained Alek Drakos, Vice President.

Alek Drakos engineered the specifications & programmed the Precision Machining with cutting-edge Camworks Software. Heavy rough milling was required for maximum surface removal. Facing surface flatness held within .001 tolerance.  The 90 degree right angle attachment allowed for additional machining access on the sides of THE TOWER.  The transformation was a testimony to the expertise of Arrow Machine Works with nearly 50 years in the Machining business.

This CNC Planer Mill can accurately machine sophisticated parts from various materials, including steel, aluminum and plastic. This specialty CNC machine is capable of making complicated parts for aerospace, oil, gas, defense and other consumer goods.

Arrow Machine Works custom designed and built a crane with 30,000 ton capacity for use with the Large Capacity CNC Planer Mill.
