Ricoh accelerates expansion in Turkey with second acquisition

Ricoh today announced that Ricoh Turkey Baski Cozumleri Limited Sirketi (Ricoh Turkey) and Ofisteknik A.S. and Ofisteknik LTD. (Ofisteknik) have signed an agreement for the business and certain of the assets of Ofisteknik to be transferred to Ricoh Turkey. The agreement is now pending the approval of the Turkish Competition Board. It is the intention of Ricoh to ensure its extended team in Turkey will focus on transforming the business document processes of its office clients and work closely with production printing businesses in Turkey to support them as they grow their client services and increase profitability.

Production printing customers in Turkey will have increased access to an extensive support program from Ricoh’s network including its services portfolio. Office clients will gain access to Ricoh’s leading services portfolio which includes: Managed Document Services, IT Services and Outsourcing Services. In addition they can choose from an even broader product portfolio that includes Ricoh core printing technologies and unified communications.

Ofisteknik is a respected and established distributor of office and production printing systems in Turkey, with 140 experienced employees. The performance based culture, service orientated approach and the international outlook of the company provides a strong fit with Ricoh’s way of working.
