LONDON, 19 February, 2014The JDE Alliance EMEA, a JD Edwards community-focused group composed of InsightSoftware.com, DWS, ARCTOOLS and Q Software, will host an educational breakfast briefing titled, “Building a Business Case for JDE Upgrades,” to be held at the Churchill War Rooms on the 25th February 2014.

Attendees will hear from JD Edwards users about best practices that helped them secure approval from Senior Management and successfully move forward with an upgrade. Speakers include Christian Fronteras of Redfaire Ltd, who will discuss the new technologies and apps available in the JD Edwards 9s, as well as Rashid Hashmi and Martin Gater from Norgine, an independent pan-European pharmaceutical company, who will discuss how they went about justifying their upgrade from JD Edwards v 8.10 to 9.1. In addition, Chris Walsh of Oracle will offer a look at the upcoming product roadmap.

“It is often the case that one of the most challenging aspects of an ERP upgrade can be getting initial approval to move forward with the project,” said Paul Sutton, General Manager, EMEA, InsightSoftware.com and JDE Alliance EMEA member. “The upcoming session is designed to give people who run JDE the understanding of the benefits of upgrades including improved features and functionality, alignment with 2014 IT and business strategies and an enhanced end user experience so they are able to put forward a compelling business case.”

All JD Edwards users are welcome to register for this free event. Registration is available online but spaces are limited.
“We look forward to sharing information peer-to-peer and keeping the robust community of JD Edwards users engaged in all aspects of their ERP, from initial implementation to upgrades,” continued Sutton.
