How to Build the Post-Human Brain: South by Southwest Session Will Explore Intersection of Memories and Technology

Featuring speakers from Singularity University, YesVideo, Mayfield Ventures, and Business Insider, ’How To Build the Post-Human Brain’ examines the ability of the human brain to adapt to evolving technology

Santa Clara, CA – WEBWIRE

As technology advances exponentially, scientists and technologists are questioning: How can the brain keep up with longer life spans, and will we reach memory/sensory overload? These questions and more will be explored in a panel titled ‘How to Build the Post-Human Brain.’ At this year’s South by SouthWest (SXSW) conference.

Selected from over 3300 sessions submitted for SXSW Interactive this year, this session was created by YesVideo and will feature an esteemed panel of science and memory experts. Together, panelists will discuss the projected interdependence between the human brain and technology on Sunday March 9th, at 11:00 AM in the Radisson Town Lake Riverside Ballroom.

Featuring speakers from Singularity UniversityBusiness Insider, and Mayfield Ventures, the panel will examine how technology has helped increase life expectancy rates, and consequently, how the brain will adapt to a lifetime of memories. The session will explore these questions: Will technology eclipse the human brain, or will the human brain simply adapt to technological advances? If humans live longer, how will they store and recall a lifetime worth of memories?

Panel participants include:

Singularity University CEO Daniel Kraft, a Stanford and Harvard trained physician-scientist, inventor, entrepreneur and innovator. Dr. Kraft has over 20 years of experience in clinical practice, biomedical research and healthcare innovation.
