St. Alexius Medical Center Implements Advanced Surface Disinfection Technology

Recently, St. Alexius Medical Center continued this commitment to care by adopting cutting edge technology to clean and disinfect rooms throughout the medical center.  The V-360+ UV Room Sanitizer from UltraViolet Devices, Inc. (UVDI) is now deployed at St. Alexius to provide superior surface disinfection to help prevent the spread of germs on surfaces throughout the facility.
 
The V-360+ is a mobile ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) device that is utilized by the environmental services staff at St. Alexius to sanitize rooms after cleaning. It generates high intensity UV energy and quickly disinfects surfaces contaminated with viruses, bacteria and fungi, including superbugs such as MRSA and C. difficile.
