easyJet, the UK’s largest airline, has today announced its plans to connect Milan with the popular destination of Tel Aviv in Israel. The airline, which already flies to Tel Aviv from London Gatwick, Manchester and London Luton, will start to provide easy and affordable services from Milan Malpensa in March 2014 by operating four flights per week. Flights will go on sale on 18 December 2013.

This latest route is now easyJet’s third since the signing of a historic Open Skies agreement between the EU and Israel. Across Europe the airline also currently serves Tel Aviv from Basel, Geneva, Rome Fiumicino and Berlin.

Hugh Aitken, easyJet’s UK Commercial Manager, said:

"easyJet is a long term committed partner of the Israeli economy and tourism industry.

“We are pleased and proud to make Europe more accessible to Israeli business and leisure passengers with an eighth direct flight to Tel Aviv. We are confident that this new route will become as popular as the other flights we successfully operate to and from Israel.”
