Epson Provides Additional Typhoon Aid to the Philippines

MANILA, Philippines

In view of the extent of the devastation caused by super typhoon Haiyan (called Yolanda in the Philippines) in the central Philippines, Epson has donated Php 4.2 million (approx. US$96,500) in additional aid to assist the recovery effort.

The aid consists of a Php 2 million donation by Epson’s affiliates in the Philippines, Epson Precision (Philippines) Inc. and Epson Philippines Corporation, and Seiko Epson Corporation; and a Php 2.2 million donation by Epson employees in the Philippines.

This additional relief was presented by Epson’s global president Minoru Usui to the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), a foundation that is providing relief and recovery assistance to devastated areas.
